RF Micro Needling Post Care Instructions
Day of Treatment
- Stay out of direct sunlight
- Do not wash face. Do not apply any moisturizers, serums, aloe, makeup, etc.
- Take over the counter pain medication if needed, but not aspirin or ibuprofen
- Begin taking the Medrol dose pack if called in to your pharmacy - Sleep as elevated as possible
Day 1
- Clean face with water and the cleanser provided morning and night - Do not apply any moisturizers, serums, aloe, makeup, etc.
- Expect swelling and redness
- Stay out of direct sunlight; wear a powdered sunscreen
- Ok to sleep flat
Day 2
- Clean face with water and the cleanser provided morning and night
- Do not apply any moisturizers, serums, aloe, makeup, etc.
- Swelling and redness will continue. Face will feel very tight and dry
- Stay out of direct sunlight; wear a powdered sunscreen
Day 3
- Clean face with water and the cleanser provided morning and night
- Do not apply any moisturizers, serums, aloe, makeup, etc.
- Swelling will start going down, and peeling may start
- Apply Aquaphor at bedtime, and leave on all night
Day 4
- Steam your face coated with Aquaphor in your shower. Use provided cleanser and a wash cloth to remove Aquaphor and dead skin. Be gentle! Do not scrub!
- If needed apply Aquaphor at bedtime again and leave on all night to remove more dead skin - Return to your normal skin routine tomorrow!
